Its so cool up here even the Bears are white as snow.

I combed my beautiful black and grey Wolverine hair this morning , looked at my pretty face in the mirror , and said HELL ... I am going to film some Polar Bears this morning.

They are hanging out in front of my Wolverine den .... and guess what for ????? .... Those crazy bears are waiting for it to get Nucking COLDER !!!!!!!!!! .... then the ice freezes over and they can go out and hunt Seals

Several different cameras ... some have bears some just have snow and cold.

Previously exclusive to Australia and parts of Kansas
Scientists are puzzled to see the phenomenon so far North
Unconfirmed reports say Drop Bears have learned to fly
Scientists continue to investigate those rumors.

IMO that driver is one lucky person...

When that TV series about ice trucking started... I did some research... Seems a lot of trucks end up under the ice...

Glad that driver lived to see another day.

Hi Mark .... I like the sounds of that .... I am going to change the spelling to High Mark
Churchill's July average temperature is 54.9 °F
Almost the same as Juneau Alaska's 56.8 °F
But it is a very short "summer" ... maybe 3 months or so
But the winters are a hell of a lot colder ... Alaska has the warmer Pacific air and we get the freezing winds from Hudson Bay ... big difference ... Next time it goes to -60 F I will post a picture of my thermometer fer 'ya

Quote:
How long is your flying season ?

All year long actually .... exploration (mining) .... lots of govt contracts .... haul away nuisance Polar bears ... haul around bleeding heart environmentalists .... haul around some real good environmentalists .... winter flying can be absolutely fantastic .... pure blue sky , pure white snow below , rotor blades love the dense crisp air .... I think it is equivalent to 5000 feet below sea level :)

Quote:
and what do u fly

H500 , good for a stable camera platform ... occasional B206 ... more and more Euro-copters

Shhh !!!!!!!
There are two different people who post as Nucking Futs .... three if you include Arnie .... he is the one who set it up ... he wanted us to join the forum but a lot of our contracts we sign non disclosures , plus "one" of the guys is flying a Police helicopter right now ... we have to be anonymous .... so Arnie set it up this way for us ... that way we are safe and he will get into trouble .
When we are together he is always telling us we are Nucking Futs so we stuck with the name
Shhh !!!!!!

That's awesome. You guys must have stories to tell. I'd love to hear a few.

WOLVERINES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ur our kinda Guy Mr Scary ... You look like you should be in Alaska but the background looks like Prairies or something

Mange killed off a lot of Coyotes in the 1980s and 1990s in Canadian prairies but they have recovered and causing all kinds of trouble

For a while it was OK ... they only ate dead livestock and carrion ... then they started going after young calves ... now they form packs and go after cattle , sometimes there is a bounty on them .... not much ... about $20 each ... but the farmers sure like to buy us all the beer and steaks we want

Then we go Nucking Futs in the bars until they kick us out of town

Years ago we used to trap them .... had to soak the traps in pine oil ,,, put a little coyote piss around the trap ... and guess what ..... we caught 10 skunks for every one fucking coyote.

We stunk like skunks so bad they wouldn't even let us in the bars. .... or the restaurants .... or the helicopters ... even the Laundromats in town sent around a red alert .... dont let those crazy fukkers use your machines ... the smell wont go away for a week

We didnt have to worry about our wives kicking us out ... they were smart .... they divorced us years ago.

Some day I will dig out a picture of a 1980 Chevy pickup driving through town .... it was so full of skunks they were spilling out the sides .

We are Nucking Futs the Aviators
Mostly famous for two things:
1. The most skunks in a pick up truck
2. The first red alert ever issued by a laundromat in the history of mankind

Now you know why they sent us to the fukking arctic

Arnie told us a bit about you Mr Gabor .... Arnie said the best piece of tail He ever had in his life was from a big Hungarian helicopter pilot in Florida .

Fukkin Shit ..... ... we were all worried that maybe he had turned queer or something .... we all kinda moved our chairs away from him

We were all sitting around telling true fucking stories so Arnie said .... I have photographs to prove it.

He pulled one out and said it was a picture of your tail from behind .... it had a blonde wig draped over it

Holy Fukk ... now we figure his Florida buddy is one of those transextites or something ....

The second picture was the front view and we saw the piece of tail he got from you .... now we all love you and want to have an affair with you Mr. Gabor ....

Arnie said ... "fukk off .... he's mine .... I found him first."

He said he is going to do a thread here and post the pictures to show everybody else how good you look in a blonde wig Mr. Gabor ... so keep it secret for now.

When we asked him about the blonde wig .... he said the only way he will tell us is if we reveal exactly how the fuckk we collect Coyote piss for our traps.

Two more stories for another day.

We have Whales up here in Hudson Bay... amazing creatures and a lot of our tourist industry revolves around whale watching in the summer as well as Polar Bear tours in the winter.

This following video was not taken here in Churchill ... but in my opinion it is the best "Save the Whale" video in the world.

Absolutely fantastic story ... I swear that whale knew exactly what was going on .... when he was set free he gave a show like never seen before

The camera ran out of storage before he was done giving thanks but here is a couple of minutes..
