Not to mention, I doubt it can autorotate if the engines fail, or even if one fails.... however, one could wear a base jumping (quick opening) chute and don't hang around between 10' and 100' (to give it time to deploy if required) :like And don't wear any type of seat belt (easy to get off it) The rider/pilot can have a series of padded 'pegs' to interlock your legs into to hold on (and foot stirrups so your feet can hang on).... but if you need to get off it, like ....RIGHT NOW!! you can straighten your legs and point your toes and feet down so you can be off the thing in an instant....

I agree, you wouldn't want to have a problem and 'ride it into the ground' with all those potential 'head loppers' whirling around you :eek :drama :wol2 :Wolvie

Was the pilot actually flying it or was the guy with the RC radio controlling it?

I saw that too and replayed it a couple of times and I think he was holding a camera ... but yes , it did sorta look like a remote control at first glance.

Hmmm, those props would chew him up if he flipped or something, the pitch of his voice might go up an octave or two. Should definitely add some prop guards. I know what the props on my quadcopter did to my fingers once.
