True Hillbilly....

However, it is a sad day.... 'Live long and prosper' was his famous phrase, 83 was a long life, so that is good... Condolences to his family.... thanks for the memories Leonard :like :yoda2 :Wolvie

Yes, a full life. Thanks for what you gave us, Mr. Nimoy.

"Live long and prosper" was your phrase - and you did.

Cheers
Erik

.

Leonard Nimoy gives an interview where he tells the origin of the Vulcan Sign

He said it is a Yiddish-Jewish Blessing normally done by a Rabbi on special occasions

He first saw it (peeked) as a young boy but did not know the meaning of it until years later

It means Live Long and Prosper

Cool interview

.

A funny bit of trivia I heard, I think it was in an interview with Captain Kirk, Shatner could never do the sign with his hand, so whenever he was scripted to do it, he had some fishing nylon (line) to tie his fingers little finger to his ring finger.... and his pointer and birdie fingers together in 2 sets, so he could do it :eek :laughing :laughing

Muz that's true...It was on the Merv Griffin show in an interview Leonard Nemoy and Shatner gave for the movie Wrath of Khan. I remember it well.

I secretly call my gyro the U.S.S. WOLVERINE!!!!

After all one does fly a round disc does one not. To Boldly Go Where Other Aircraft Can't Go....

I had thought to build my Hornet in the Trek theme but I never figured I would start another build
in the middle of that one and end up finishing the 2nd one first!!! :drum

No wonder ppl think I'm messed up....I AM!!! :realcrazy :laughing :laughing

you would have loved this Gyro, to bad it got wiped out in a roll over. the detail of this machine was out standing.
