Nice score Gary.... that is a Northrop unmanned target drone prop from about 1932-1963.... there were zillions made and became surplus after WW2 some time.... so that is prolly the prop that fits a Mac, which as we know was a drone motor :like I reckon that one is prolly made between 1950 and 60, because that is when they made the most..... they got used up until 1980, but I reckon all the props would have been made at the beginning of 1950 :like

So that is prolly what uncle Ivor used to get to put on the original Bensons :yoda2 :bigballs :laughing :laughing

That, my boy, appears to be genuine gyrocopter history in your very hands! :koolaid :lick :gyro2 :yoda2 :Wolvie

I thought at first that I was looking at Larry the Cable Guy holding a propeller.

This is the original prop that my 1946 Stinson 108 left the assembly line with.
It's "propped" up in the corner of The Lovely Laurie and my living room as we speak.

Sorry Gary, that was only 'attempted humour' which evidently failed :rofl

The brass leading edge prop is beautiful.... man, they made some quality stuff back then :like I used to get props made by a guy in Brisbane, Richard Sweetapple.... he did his apprentiship on tiger moths and gypsy's.... by hand.... beautiful workmanship :koolaid He is about 90 years old now and has retired unfortunately :cry He used to get 1 1/4" timbers and saw them up the center then bond them back to back so each laminate had the identical grain crossing equal and opposite.... awesome craftsman.... hand made props will become a thing of the past soon :badluck I like the sensenich how they are hand finished :like

I saw a ceiling fan at a shop once, it is the nose of a spitfire and some fake leading edge with fake gun holes that goes along the ceiling, and the prop for the fan.... that was cool.... looks like a spitfire diving thru the ceiling :eek :laughing :laughing :Wolvie

The top pic has the fake wings and guns :Wolvie

If I were getting one, I would stick it on the wall, not the ceiling ..... I reckon it would look cool on the wall (until you walk into it in the dark) :eek :chainsaw :laughing :laughing
