An old '50's newsreel with several machines including the baby bi plane with 8' wingspan :eek that can do 150Kts :eek :eek :laughing :laughing

And the XH-17 (end of video) with 125' rotor diameter, weighs 42,000# and can carry over 10 ton :eek

Not bad for the 50's :yoda2 :Wolvie

Ah yes, the 50's when people of the U.S.of A loved Avaition and promoted it. I blame the airlines for killing off so much of the Interest in Avaition.

The nanny rules and regulations don't help either.... I am not saying have no rules and fly (or try to) any old shit.... I don't mean that at all.... but people who want to indulge in aviation should firstly HAVE some common sense, and USE it.....

And if people do fuck up... well, say hello to Mr Darwin :dizzy :laughing :laughing
