Ah yes, the 50's when people of the U.S.of A loved Avaition and promoted it. I blame the airlines for killing off so much of the Interest in Avaition. |

The nanny rules and regulations don't help either.... I am not saying have no rules and fly (or try to) any old shit.... I don't mean that at all.... but people who want to indulge in aviation should firstly HAVE some common sense, and USE it..... And if people do fuck up... well, say hello to Mr Darwin

yes muz this copter is a monster some spec! main rotor system with a diameter of 134 feet the rotor spun at a sedate 88rpm blades weight 5000pounds or 2300kg apiece tip jet like the Fairey Rotodyne no torque other funny spec...! i read that the tail rotor on the mi-26 is like the hughes 500 main rotor! https://books.google.ca/books?id=rxryAg ...
