My uncle Pat was in the Air Force , Korea flying C119s , One day flying back to Japan they had a runaway prop. The procedure was to just bail out. So the crew did, Damn plane continued flying till it was out of sight over the horizon, They floated in the Japan sea for three days before a patrol boat saw them damn they were pissed ![]() |

What is that? An uncontrollable pitch? |

Yes it is. It can go to flat pitch and over speed the engine or go in reverse and wreck the plane. ![]() |
