And now every year my date of birth is over shadowed by this EVENT (however you see it). What's to celebrate except now I am fully awake and could not return to slumber even if I wanted too!!! Eternal vigilance is my Birthday now and forever more!!!!

Mate, 911 was a sad day, a tragic day, a history changing day..... and there is two ways you can look at it from....  You have stated the first, negative way, the second is that your birthday actually brightens an otherwise bleak and mournful day.... The fact it falls on your birthday is just a coincidence, my birthday was the 11/7 and you probably share your birthday with thousands, if not millions of others.... You should choose the positive outlook, rather than the negative.... the events of 911 was due to nothing you had done, so just pay respect for those lost and make the best of your greatest day
