As many of you know: PeachState Gyro club has many of their gyro's at Cedartown field (4A4) in W GA.
The field is used by two skydiving organizations.
Sadly, there was an accident at 'Skydive the Farm' Saturday; one person died, the other is in the hospital. Sad, yet a reminder that aviation is potentially dangerous: approach with caution and common sense.

that is sad! I live near one of the biggest jumps schools in the south. Fatalities are very rare or atleast the news doesn't report them. considering how many jumps that go on day to day I would say its a pretty safe sport. I've never skydived before since I'm afraid of heights.

I love and miss skydiving . Skydiving is the most exciting sport . Skydiving is the most unforgiving sport . I love it .
