Wondered where C-FKLK ended up. It was in Western Canada for years . Does Millardair own it now ?

Is that you in these pictures Arnie. Looks just like you. Always heard you like to find a beach out of radio range and disappear for a day. Ever hear from Sylvia or did she go back to New Zealand ?

Sounds like you are describing the average northern bush pilot around here. Except the murdering part. We like to let them live. Then we can do it all again next year. Just kidding , but I have seen some crazy stuff up in those mining camps , guys are away from civilization for 6 months and turn animal. By the looks of that Millard kid he never had to work a day in his life. He came from a good family. Wonder what went wrong.

Yes . Wayne owned it for a few years and I think Dellen kept it . No good to him in jail. I will look it up.

Why .... looking to buy it ?

Not sure when this was taken, airshow or something in Toronto.

Looks like C-FKLK sold last April.

Makes sense if Dellen will spend the rest of his life in Jail. Wayne didnt do much when he retired, got caught up in the tree hugger crowd for a while , heard it was cause the woman he was dating or something. Rented out the old hangars at Pearson , then had to tear them down , then out of the blue he built that new $6.4 million hangar at Waterloo , spent a pile of money setting it up as a certified MRO for 737 & 757 , hired staff and then died before they turned a wrench.

His son (the killer) cancelled all the certification and sold off the equipment , it was all brand new. Now his mom and lawyers sold off everything else. Some big Eurocopter dealer bought the new hangar. Perfect place for them .

Anyway , looks like they sold the 47 too.

Shhhhh .... remember I cant hide like you can. hehe .. Haven't heard from Sylvia for years. Stored her bike at my place , she picked it up when I was away , did send a picture from Yukon doing geology work out of a Hughes 500 , I will dig it out and scan it.

Anyway ... murder trial starts tomorrow morning ,,, I know a reporter who has inside info , she said even though we know about the murder-incinerator and all that ghastly stuff .... we will still be stunned to hear the rest of the story. I cant imagine what could make it worse than it is.

Trial has begun .... been a long 2 1/2 year wait

Canada does not allow cameras inside the courtroom but reporters are allowed to tweet live and the info is pouring out

starts by describing Bosma's truck. For sale by owner, 170K, Dodge Ram, mostly highway driven, 2007, extended cab, short box. New transmission, new brakes. asking $24K .

test drive ... Crown says Bosma met with Millard and Smich. Shook their hands, and then went on a test drive. “Tim Bosma was never seen or heard from again,” Fraser said.

When Tim Bosma didn't come home, his wife Sharlene tried phoning him repeatedly, but it went straight to voice mail, the Crown says. She also sent a text to ask where he was. She then called family and friends for assistance, and Hamilton police.

Their phones were then immediately turned off, the Crown says.

Fraser tells the jury Bosma's truck was found at Millard's mother's driveway in a trailer. It was stripped. The carpets and front seats were gone, and they were found charred against the main rear doors of the trailer, burned.

Fraser says investigators found Bosma's blood inside the truck in various areas: inside rear passenger door, rear passenger armrest, on glove box, and on front passenger cupholder “Tim Bosma’s blood was also found on various areas on the undercarriage of the truck,” Fraser says, adding police also found a spent .380 gun cartridge inside the truck.

The crown says Millard's fingerprints were found inside and outside the truck.

The Crown says that human bones were found inside an animal incinerator called "The Eliminator." 58 bone fragments – two virtually complete bones and one tooth.

The Crown also says Bosma's blood was found on the Eliminator.

The Crown says Bosma was killed in his truck, shot at close range, and then his body incinerated hours later.

Video from a nearby business shows Bosma's truck towing the eliminator, which was then ignited on May 7, Crown says. Millard then told employees they were not to come to work at the Millard hangar at Waterloo Airport that day via text, Fraser said. "Airport politics. No one goes to the hangar today. Not even just to grab something," the text read.

The next day, one of Millard's employees saw what he believed was Bosma's truck in the Millard hangar. He took pictures of it, and sent them to Crime Stoppers. “The truck the employee saw in the hangar was Tim Bosma’s truck," Crown Craig Fraser says.

Crown also says Millard planned to have Bosma's truck painted/decals removed.

The Crown says Smich tried to sell the gun that was used, and when he couldn't, he buried it in a forest. That's what he told his girlfriend.

According to the Crown, letters were seized from Millard's girlfriend's home. In them, Millard wanted "a key Crown witness to change his evidence.” Noudga was asked to reach out to change evidence. “This was a person Mr. Millard believed was a friend, and someone he believed he could convince to change his statement," Fraser says.

(ps: Noudga is Christine Noudga ... Millards current girlfriend .... she has been charged with accessory to cover up a murder , her trial next year)

One letter (to girlfriend Noudga) read: “If he knew his words were going to get me a life sentence, he would change them. Show him how he can, and he will change them,"

The Crown also says a DVR was found inside Noudga's bedroom. It was from the airplane hangar, Fraser says, and shows Millard and Smich in the hangar around 1:30 a.m. on May 7, 2013 -- when the Crown says Bosma's body was burned.

Sharlene Bosma is to be called as the Crown's first witness after lunch. (Sharlene is Tim Bosmas wife)

Court in a recess until 2 p.m. EST

A few random tweets trickling in ....

(Holy Crap ... they even took home videos)
Crown says there is video of Millard and Smich in Millard airplane hangar at the time TimBosma's body was burned.

(They even used the dead mans truck to tow the incinerator)
Video seized from Waterloo airport shows Bosma truck towing Eliminator there on night Tim vanished, May 6, 2013.

Crown believes Bosma incinerated outside Millard air hangar. Eliminator moved to farm later.

A question for the gun guys here .... they said a .380 cartridge was found in the truck .... would that mean the gun used in the murder was a .38 special or something else ? Thanks.

Arnie- The .380 has the same diameter bullet as a 9mm....but it has a shorter case length. Plus...the.380 is a straight walled rimless case whereas the 9mm has a tapered rimless case.
It has less power .

Arnold .... we snapped some pics over the Millard farm while searchers were there, had to keep quiet until the trial . Every LE and news copter has a pilot that sees everything firsthand but cannot report.

This Millard guy bought the farm a few years earlier to build a house on or something , paid cash $840k I think , also bought another condo in Toronto $900k , lived in his late dads $1.4M house , had plenty of dough but killed a guy for a used dodge truck.

The forensic tents in the open field was where some cremated remains and ashes were cleaned out

The second picture a yellow VW then in front of it a blue SUV , look just above the SUV you can see a blue tarp in the bushes , under the tarp is the animal incinerator. LE found 2 human bones and one tooth inside.

Day 4 of the trial , not much happened last 2 days

Amazing how DUMB Millard actually was in spite of his exotic plans to cover up his tracks

--- Police first had the tip about the "ambition" tattoo on the suspects wrist , based on that they paid a friendly visit to Millards hangar and the first thing Millard said to them was .... "the suits are here" .... "been expecting you" DUH !!

--- Police did not yet have a warrant so they left the building and arrested Millard later when he was driving his car and guess what cops found in the car .... the keys for the missing truck. DUH !!

--- The day after the theft he was stripping the truck of license plates , seats etc and told all his employees not to come to the hangar that day. Following day employees arrived and the partly stripped black truck was there , , one staff took a picture of it and the VIN number and sent the tip to crime stoppers. Millard was so busy stealing and killing he did not realize the missing truck was all over the news and everybody was looking for it.

Left: Mark Smich , charged with murder
Middle: Tim Bosma , victim
Right: Dellen Millard , charged with murder , kidnapping , theft

Enter witness Igor Tumanenko ... gotta love this guy

Igor also had a black Dodge Ram Diesel truck for sale and 3 days earlier Millard and Smich had phoned and made arrangements for a test drive .

Millard got in the front passenger seat , Smich got in the rear , and Igor did the driving for the first half , then Millard drove back and with Igor in the passenger seat ,

Prosecutors think they planned to overpower Igor and steal his truck the same way they did to Tim Bosma , but Igor was a big muscular man and they may have had second thoughts , but then again the boys had a gun so who knows if they would have tried anyway

Then there is this : (Igor on the witness stand today)

Lawyer .... were either of them hostile to you in any way ?
Igor .... not at all , they were friendly and asked a lot of questions about the truck and the engine
LAWYER: ... so He was not hostile to you in any way?
Igor: .... No, usually people do not talk to me like that . He asked about the diesel engine.
Lawyer ... what did you tell him ?
Igor .... I told him I was familiar with this engine from Israeli army experience
Igor .... then The shorter guy in the back seat asked what I did in the Israeli army
Igor .... I said, ‘You don’t want to know what I did there.’
Lawyer .... then what happened
Igor: ... Then the mood changed, “There was a change in the dynamic inside of the car,” he said.
Igor ... the driver made a nervous glance to the guy in the back seat
Igor ... The driver seemed stressed, moving in the car seat.

.... court ends for the day.

I don't understand why a man (and another) that had the money to buy a dozen such trucks would kill somebody for a truck.
Does Canada have the death penalty?

No death penalty any more Ray . A Canadian can murder 50 people and not get death. Willie Pickton is a good example.

Actually he only did 49 , was aiming for 50. Wanted to set a world record. Picked up hookers , butchered them in his slaughterhouse , put them through a wood chipper , and fed the remains to his pigs. Police had to sift through mountains of barnyard dirt to get a handful of evidence.

It gets worse. Then he would sell the pork to customers up and down the road. To this day those poor folks gag , puke , and become violently ill just thinking about it.

Ironically the Pickton family were wealthy too .... over the years the up-scale part of the city encroached the farm and they would sell parcels of land for millions of dollars.

In the meantime , Willie was a filthy junk-yard pig-farmer serial-killer

His sentence ?????? .... life in jail with no chance of parole for 25 years. THAT'S IT !!! .. Unbelievable.

Early in the investigation Willie held out his hand for a handshake with a cop .... the cop said it was the coldest slimiest limpest most evil detestable thing he had ever touched in his life.

Looks like no more court until Monday ,the jury will get 3 days off every week (long trial)

Good judge in this court , he doesn't waste time with nonsense , drama , or allow grandstanding by the lawyers.

..........................

A bit of interesting testimony from Arthur J. who was the MillardAir employee who saw the stolen truck in the hangar the day after it was reported stolen. Arthur was a "senior" student taking some upgrading training and the school had placed him there for a few months for work experience.

No big deal except his SIL (Son in Law) worked there too and was Millards friend and right hand man. When Arthur came to work he recognized the stolen truck from the news coverage , took down the VIN and called crime stoppers who confirmed it was the missing mans truck and they (crimestoppers) asked for the location

The crimestoppers tip-line is totally anonymous , Arthur did not reveal the location , he feared for his life and for his SIL as well. He thought it could be a part of an underworld car theft ring , lots of that around , they steal and then ship cars by container to Russia or wherever.

Two days later he called a family meeting at his home , told them Millard had the a stolen truck , told SIL he was going to call police and they should not go back to work. SIL did not believe Millard was a crook and they should mind their own business and go back to work ... so they did.

But next day the truck was gone , that made SIL suspicious , told Millard that Arthur thinks it is the stolen truck , Millard tells Arthur to pack up his things and go home , Arthur fears for his life again and leaves and then tells crimestoppers where the truck had been

Cops were already on to Millard because of the "ambition" tattoo , but when they came to the hangar the truck was gone , not enough proof to lay charges yet , cops hoped Tim Bosma was still alive , maybe tied up or held somewhere, they did not realize he was killed the night his truck was stolen.

However , Arthur J. , who had been instructed to mind his own business and ignore the truck in the hangar , waited until no one was watching and took the picture below. Based on that Millard was arrested , but only for kidnapping and theft. No evidence of murder yet.

.

Under the circumstances Arthur took a pretty good picture with his phone , Millard had stripped the carpets and interior , and the paint cans were presumably to cover up blood on the metal floor under the carpet.

Only a psychopath (no conscience) could steal , murder , and then nonchalantly touch up blood stains in the dead mans truck inside his $6 million hangar. Just another "day at work" to him I guess

Not much new in court today , mostly the phone experts mapping out the travels of the anonymous burner phone ... then testimony from an autobody shop owner who said Dellen Millard called two days after the murder and made a rush appointment to have a black truck painted red ... then called shortly afterwards to cancel the appointment when he realized the stolen truck was all over the news.

Will have pictures of tattoos in a minute , in the meantime here is his mugshot the afternoon he was arrested
