We found a townhouse on Pago Bay. Move in next week. Unfurnished so it will be exspensive at first.

Yes, company gave me 30 days in luxuroy hotel and company car a phone and a laptop.
WhT they didnt give me was any moving allowence, so kat and I packed 5 seabags of clothes Nd I mailed my paramotor. Well the company reimbursed me for that so i guess that was my moving allowence.
As for island fever I dont get it. Always figured fun is where you find it.
But this aint Cuba and I can leave when ever I want to. (Lived at gitmo for 5 years)
Got to go diving with my sons and wife today so that was special.

Any surfing? I used to love to go surfing when I was in Hawaii....
Speaking of furniture, I was a newley wed with a 5 month old son when I went there.
My living room furniture was 2 lawn chairs, and a barstool with a 13" color TV, I was livin large!
I had a bicycle, surfboard, moped, and a 1977 Honda accord. Sometimes I wish I could get back to life that simple.

Lived on a 5 mile by 2 mile island for many years. rode a bicycle everywhere. Key West has spectacular sunrises and sunsets. In the 60's and 70's everybody went home at easter and returned around thanksgiving. Except for the locals and a few people down from the mainland to go fishing the place was deserted. Oahu was too touristy for me. I like Maui a lot better.
