Is there enough material in the hub to straight bore it out well oversized and then make an press in insert that has the taper and keyway in it? then drill and tap twice at the seam, 180 degrees apart and put set screws in it. For the shaft is it ok enough to take it and have a key put 180 degrees on the other side? Hard to tell by the picture just how F'ed up that shaft is.

And that muffler that comes with that 532 sitting here 4 you would be a quick switch out.........I take it that is the same kind of rotax exhaust
that is widely used these days?

Some how I have managed to acquire all three styles of exhaust systems with 3 motors and counting.

I see a yammie rx-1 in my very near future too.

It is expensive. The timing belt broke. Only 40K on this belt!
Unfortunately this engine is not free wheeling :badluck :punch

I am not even sure there is a reason to pull it apart.
The mech is looking into it through the spark plug hole and see if there are any marks on top of the cylinders.
He says it could have been a seized pulley stopping the belt and even a brand new one would have snapped in that case.
:cry :cry :cry

valve overlap? a lost timing belt just stops the engine most of the time with no valve damage BTDT- look down the holes and a compression check-replace the belt & go

PT cruiser @ 80.000 lost a belt- it was supposed to be changed at 90k POS now at 150k still going :bunny
