Cat takes on dog to aid 4-year-old boy after canine attacks Published May 15, 2014 at FoxNews.com A cat was credited with defending a California boy, 4, who was attacked by a dog in his driveway Tuesday while playing on his bicycle. The incident was caught on a security camera and showed the dog, described as a Labrador/chow mix, attacking the boy from behind, grabbing his pants and trying to drag him. The cat, seeing the boy struggle, lunges at the dog. The boy needed a few stitches, according to KERO Bakersfield, which reported that the cat belongs to the boy and his family. "I've never seen a cat do that," Roger Triantafilo, the boy's father, told the station.
