Would you have used the parachute ? I have never flown fixed wing but this Cirrus pilot used the emergency parachute after an engine failure .... yet the terrain looks pretty good for a normal power-off landing Any opinions ? http://www.dailyliberal.com.au/story/11 ... h/#slide=4 |

HELL NO !!!!!
They don't train pilots for shit these days . The only time I would use something like that would be if the aircraft exited controlled flight . Other then that , YOU FLY THE FUCKING PLANE ! I heard, don't remember where, that if the 'chute' is used, the plane is TOTALED.
