Gary .... you would like one of my doctors ..... he is originally from South Korea .... 6 foot 4 .... probably about 350 pounds .... looks like a Sumo wrestler.

His looks are intimidating .... but he is a real nice guy , very intelligent , has a young family .... pretty straight guy who even sings in church sometimes ..... has a deep voice that makes the dust fall from the rafters .

Last time I saw him I was complaining about how tuckered out I am and how I can hardly do anything besides eat and sleep ..... he said not to worry ...... then he glanced around to make sure nobody else was listening and whispered ..... sometimes it is best just to say fuck everything and get some rest .

Dang it Stan, you better get well and make it to Bensen days.... we have to steal Scott lewis's ATV and go on the gator hunt. besides I have a bunch of Helicopters flying in so us Powered Rotor guys have some eye candy.

About 1.5 years ago the same thing happened to me Stan.....internal bleeding. I called my sister to take me to the ER knowing I couldn't drive. She took one look at me and called 911....said I was chalky white. Spent 6 boring days in the hospital. I hate IV's and blood tests cause they can't chase down my veins....it's multiple dull needle stabbing torture.

Turned out I had three stomach ulcers.....took 5 units of blood to bring the blood pressure up and 2 more before they would allow me to leave. The doc fixed the ulcers and said no more ibuprofen or any NSAID's and no more smoking (oh the horrors). I quit cold-turkey and it took about three to four month before I felt somewhat peppy again. Learned that dark stools are not considered normal for humans.

Now if I have pain, I'm supposed to take Vicodin.....a totally worthless drug, next to a sugar pill. So sometimes, so I can sleep, I'll take ibuprofen with milk.

I just talked to Stan .... he is in the hospital going through a bunch of tests .... amazing how positive he can be at times like this.
