I don't know much about this stuff, but a bunch of people sure seemed to think this was useful, I'm just passing it along to you gyro guys. This was posted on my Airgun website...

"I'm sure this is an acceptable place for this post. If you mods feel there should be a more grand location for this, I totally understand.
It's very frustrating that we have so many helpful walk-through's, repairs, how to's, reviews, mods, etc. that "use to" have so many helpful pictures. A lot of people can't just envision the details on how to do something without pics. It's not only this forum I see it on so many various other forums that photobucket completely ruined.
So here is a simple hack to solve the default pic that PB used for all those helpful threads with pictures.

Go to your post.

Hit "modify", go to the URL string for the image and where it ends with "jpeg" simply type in

"~original"

right after jpeg, so it will now read "jpeg~original" (no quotes of course) then hit "save"

Here is a thread of mine that was ruined by PB and I did this to the top pic. I didn't do it to the rest yet so you guys can see the magic of a couple words. Not sure how long this will work for or if they will catch on? I feel they will probably be going out of business soon. In the mean time I encourage any helpful threads all y'all have to do this to. So to help all future air-gunners, motorcyclist, powder burners, machinist, whatever other sites you guys are goofing with.

I know sometimes Muz posts pics here I can't see....but maybe its cause I'm in Guam...

I embed the pics on the forum, not post links.... I dont use photo bitchit or flucker any of those sites...

I hate that when you look at a forum and the pics have those things saying the picture account needs to be upgraded...

We have a few photobucket stuff on this site I think.....
I made a bunch of gifs that were linked. But I have downloaded them when the old site crashed.
It is better to embed. They stay. Unless of course Darren shows up and deletes them....then only then will they be gone.

I hope Darren is ok, I wonder if he got the trailer done...

I like him. I really do. I wish there was a medication that would keep some of this emotional swings at bay.

He is not a bad guy. Just fucking unstable.
Being eccentric is almost a requirement to belong here so that's not the problem.
It's when your actions start causing negative effects on people who simply want entertainment.....
I know for a fact that 90% of our registered members don't give a shit about posting.
But they truly enjoy reading every little idiotic crap we put up here.
Probably more so than the real gyro stuff.....
But when someone starts destroying shit on purpose.....
Don't get me wrong I have deleted my build thread on the forum when I got kicked off.
But that was right after seeing all the hatred coming from very prominent members who thought I could not read their postings because I was banned.
People who will smile at you shake your hands and then call you all kinds of vile names and accuse you of shit that you have never done.
What it comes down to I prefer an honest openly hating enemy over a slimy wishy washy friend!!!!
That's why I made it right with Ron Awad. At least he had the balls to be an ashhole face to face!!!!!!
Actually that's a pretty good character in my book.
Anyways. Sorry for the long analysis.
I miss Darren, but I do value more all the work the contributors put into this site!

Oh been all over ..... 300 hrs on 2 gyros on 2 continents ... fly'n fool/ gyro gypsy ... having too much fun being retired! ( with sweet flying machines to demo & sell!) ... got a 500 picture/commentry (3 albums) ..summary of my 2017 up on my Facebook page ... made public for non FB users/friends to see ...as it seems one can no longer copy/paste web-page link to a specific album ...to email or post on other sites!

For the next couple of days hunkered down for a winter storm/ deep freeze passing through!
