The bummer-man is loosing ground... it does not get any more clear than this:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls ... -1044.html

My business has me in folks homes all the time (service calls). I developed a way to casually talk about 'current events' without getting too political decades ago. Long story short:

As recently as the election in Nov of 2012... folks still believed in BHO. NOT ANY MORE!!!!!!!!!!!
I have not spoken with a single person (other than posting in that thread at RWF which was deleted) who has anything other than contempt for libbies in the last 6-9 months.

The pendulum is swinging... albeit not fast enough for me.

IMO the important thing is to get the maximum number of folks to vote, and to vote GOP. To have both houses of Congress in the hands of the GOP... makes BHO a lame duck for the last 2 years. It is the best we can do... short of impeachment... which I seriously doubt will happen. Now having said this... run a semi conservative that CAN get elected... not someone that has such poor people skills they could not succeed as a Walmart greeter.

Yes... and I would LOVE to see another Reagan... however:

Infighting in the GOP... and we will get another DEM.

We need to get what we can get... not 100% of what is ideal in one election cycle.

Case in point: If the GOP had run someone that was electable in Nevada in 2010... we would have been rid of Harry Reid.
But NOOOOOOOO... being 14 on a scale of 1-10 conservative was more important than whether they could win election for dog catcher.

It does not matter how conservative or libertarian someone is.... if they are not electable... it is GUARANTEED a DEM will win.

Around 35-40% of the voters will always vote conservative/GOP... and around 35-40% of the voters will always vote liberal/DEM. It is the other 20-30% that win or loose an election. THOSE 'fickle' voters are the ones we need to get... and it does not matter to me how we get them... just GET THEM.

When the GOP is in power... they can do as they want... as the DEMS do when they are in power. Nobody wins big in politics being honest... not even conservatives or libertarians.

I think you are way off. I think most Americans are hungry for a conservative pres, and most Americans stayed home cause Romney wasn't conservative enough.

I wish that was what I saw in the summer and fall of 2012... but it was not.

Folks generally do not know what conservative and liberal are... they are out for what makes them feel good (even though they think they are making intelligent decisions).

IMO if a majority of folks understood conservative... BHO would have NEVER gotten elected. He did, and did twice... so to me it is obvious folks voting did NOT understand.

On the subject of not voting... If someone thinks they will not LOOSE, and LOOSE badly by just sitting home and ignoring things... well... IMO they got what they deserved for that dumb move.
Sure, Mitten was not a good choice... BUT: Regardless... he was a better choice than 4 more years of BHO.
Most conservatives I know, understood that.
