Ok I hate doing plumbing work because it always means you are never going to be able to get what you need the first time at the store..
So the air vent under the kitchen sink was leaking, sewer gas, every once in awhile you could smell it. So I wanted to upgrade the vent, problem is the new vents all are 2" thread, the old one was 1 1/2", I did not want to redo the whole drain vent, and when I got all the correct adapters to change sizes threads etc. The stack up was about 6" too tall to fit in the area it had to go, so I made my own male to female 1 1/2" adapter on the lathe, and glued it together.  _________________  A walk in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact that I am dragging a body should be entirely irrelevant! A simple thank you would have been enough for the morning coffee without all that "how did you get in here" nonsense. |

You can do anything with a lathe, a mill and a welder, all you need is the time, and a joint if you ask Jake...
