Hey Gabs, could you please make an icon like :Flag for us Aussies, maybe one for Martin and our other Canadian brothers (and sisters) and any other nations with folks on here?

I think it would be good for the other :wol

To know instantly when they are reading threads from those in other countries and then understand time differences etc. We all love and respect America, I know I do, I am equally proud of Australia, so I would like a similar icon if possible :yoda2

Here is some flag pics.....

I reckon a decent 'face palm' and 'what the fuck!' icons wouldn't go astray either sometimes, and often a 'laughing my head off' would be good too :Nazi

Thanks champ :first

Must be an OZ-thing!!! :OZ
& I thought I kinda hit the emoticon - icons stuff pretty hard!!! :laughing

:boink Mad-mate MADMUZ here just takes tha cake!!! :rofl
:dropbear

IT IS A FUN FORUM to play here!!! :like :like :like :like

great to have you adding some down-under spice MUZ .... we were needing some new blood to sparkle the place up! :fuckum

There's a lot of cool history to this forum ... sadly :killbunny :head most of it was lost( along with my rebuild journey & Gabor's behemoth rebuild) ... when the #2 version :wol site went poof overnight when the server skunked out! :die

The greatest part is we can be who we really are here ... as we are in real life scratching, burping & sharing lies around the campfire!! :eek :der :first

Not all PC & decorous / serious :yoda ... ( which absolutely has it's place @ the "other place" - RWF ... play nice - by their rules .... lots of good info , help, archives & depth of all things rotor ... but such a YAWN at times.... ( damn I KNOW we had a yawn icon once-upon-a-time ... a bunch went AWOL - a few weeks ago!!!!) :boink
.... lots people don't post there anymore -- 'cause they got sick of the attacks ... yet they don't want to associate with us here either :lick :koolaid ! ..... probably lurking a bit both places! :noidea

Good to see active new-blood!

Rave-on!

:wol .... one of the originals!

Rave on? that should be my call sign :bigballs :yoda2

The main thing I want to get across to people is that as nice as the factory machines are, although heavy, open framed and semi podded open frame machines are more versatile and can be more fun if you don't only want to travel places every time you fly.

If you want to just buzz you local area and strip and just play in the wind, nothing better than a basic :Cheapass machine....

I don't like it that spectators think basic machines are some sort of novelty or joke, as they pass them to look at the pretty euros. :fuckum :puke3 :killa

For the price of a factory euro, you can build 3 good open basics :lick

Madmuz, I know what you mean when you say that a basic open homebuilt machine is perfect for buzzing around the patch, over the years I have built many gyros, some were fully enclosed high speed machines, a few even had skis that were retractable for less drag but I found that there is a point that you reach where it is better to go with a fixed wing for high speed cross country cruising but with a small light gyro you don't need to go far to have fun.
I once landed one of my gyros next to a platus pc12 and the pilot said that my gyro had to be the ugliest flying machine that he had ever seen and I told him to sit in the seat and look around, he did and I pointed out that the looks of a machine only counts if you are not flying it, from the pilot seat the view is what counts and for that you can't beat an open machine.
